    Abstract

We suggest an efficient allocation method for the limited radio frequency (RF) resources by using the propagation interference analysis (PIA). The propagation interference path rates (PIPR) among the networks is calculated and compared with the allowable propagation interference path rates (APIPR) to determine if a channel is shareable. The concept of the minimum interference separation distance(MISD), which eliminates unnecessary calculation of the PIPR in advance, was adopted to increase the processing speed of the PIPR evaluation. According to the proposed method, RF resources can be used efficiently by allowing the interference between the networks in a certain level, namely non-zero APIPR.
